Hello.  My name is Miranda and this is my first blog post.  I’m not sure what they are all about and would like to understand it more so am trying it.  Also, I have a LOT of thoughts on many subjects and frequently have something to say.  I find many times that I’ll actually SAY things people are thinking but might be afraid to vocalize.  (Or my internal filter doesn’t work right and I blurt out what other people are thinking might not be appropriate.  I’m working on better internal filters without losing the ability to point out the elephant.)

When WordPress prompted me for a site name, I immediately thought of “Miranda me this” in parody of The Joker’s quote “Riddle me this [Batman]” and went with it.  So, I may start to post thoughts and questions and rambles.  And rants.  One friend has dubbed me “the little ball of hate” when I get riled up about things.  Mostly injustice and inequity.  Sometimes just people.

I can also be humorous and warm.  I’m sure I’ll spend quite a few sessions talking about my brothers and sisters, my nieces and nephews, my Dad, my husband and my friends.  And you’ll hear lots of love (and some exasperation and frustration) in those stories.  Mostly it will be about everything relative to me though. 😛

There!  It’s done for now and I will brave the smack-me-silly cold and get groceries again before holing up again waiting for the temperatures to exceed freezing point.  Since I expect this to be friends and family members looking, I’ll end it with,
